Paradise Cove’s unique eco systems offer some of the best snorkeling in the Bahamas. In addition to a natural coral reef that is home to hundreds of species of fish, the location also has the largest contiguous man made reef ball reef in The Bahamas. Angelfish, sea turtles, damselfish, parrotfish, squirrelfish and snapper are just some of the regular residents who inhabit the area. All snorkel gear is available on site for a small rental fee and the professionally trained staff sizes each customer individually with the proper gear to ensure the most enjoyable experience.

PADDLE BOARDING
Paddle Boarding is an alternative that offers an expanded view during your sea travel experience. This is one sport that is actually easier than it looks and most people can navigate the board with just a little practice. Paddle Boarding offers a unique vantage point to view the beautiful shoreline landscape that surrounds Paradise Cove. You can also spot a variety of sea life right from your standing position by gazing into the crystal clear waters around you while the warm sunshine fills you with its amazing energy of the Caribbean.

KAYAK ADVENTURE
Another activity option at Paradise Cove is kayaking. Rentals and instruction are available with everything you need to cruise the beautiful aqua waters at your own pace. Kayaking offers a unique experience that gives you an opportunity to venture out in the calm seas that surround the area that are home to some of the most beautiful corals and aquatic life in the northern Bahamas. Let the experience take you back to the days when the indigenous people of Grand Bahama, the Lucayan Indians, kayaked these same peaceful waters to travel to their favorite fishing spot or coasted through the serene sea to relax on a warm lazy day.

THE BEST BEACHES
For those who prefer to keep their head above water, Paradise Cove has one of the best beaches in all of Freeport, Bahamas. The views are outstanding with pristine white powdery sand and coconut trees that sway in the light southerly breeze. There are plenty of lounge chairs available right on the beach or if shade is preferred you can enjoy the ambience from the large deck that connects to the bar and grill. While you are sunbathing on the beach or just chillin’ on the deck you can order a variety of food and beverage choices including locally brewed Bahamian beer and on most days freshly caught fish. Mixed drinks are available including local favorites like gully wash and coconut based concoctions.
